Directions
From Highway 74 (Independence Blvd): Follow Independence Blvd (West) into town Exit left on I-277 S/John Belk Frwy/US-74/NC16S. Take the Sixth St./McDowell St ramp. Turn left onto N McDowell St./NC027. The courthouse is a half block from the corner of East Fourth and McDowell Streets.

From Highway 85 (Southbound): Take exit 38 onto I-77 S/US-21 S via the ramp on the left toward Columbia/Rock Hill. Take the I-277/Brookshire Freeway/NC-16 Exit (Exit 11). Merge onto I-277 S/NC-16 S via Exit 11A on the left. Take the NC-16/Third/Fourth St. Exit- EXIT 2A. Turn left onto E 4th St. The courthouse is a half block from the corner of East Fourth and McDowell Streets.

From I-77 South and North: Take Brookshire Freeway East (South); Exit McDowell Street; Follow McDowell to East 4th Street; Turn right onto East Fourth St.

Public parking: 4th Street Parking Deck, located at the intersection of 4th and McDowell Streets. The public entrance to the parking deck is on 4th Street, directly across from the 3rd and 4th Street/I-277/John Belk Freeway exit ramp.

Conveniently located at the intersection of 4th and McDowell in downtown Charlotte, directly across the street from the courthouse.

(Turn right on S. McDowell St and drive for a ½ mile. Turn left onto E. Morehead Street)

McDonald’s -- 200 S College Street (open Sat until 2 p.m. only)
(Travel northwest on E 4th St. In six blocks turn right onto College Street. (You will be forced to turn right on this one way street.). Park and walk back one block. The restaurant is on College St between Third and Fourth Streets (3rd Floor of the BB&T Building)
